What is Fiber Optics?

Single-mode fiber also has higher bandwidth than multimode fiber. The laser light source is used by single-mode fiber. These fibers are comparatively more expensive than the multimode fiber because a higher degree of accuracy is required to produce the laser light in a smaller opening which is the main principle behind the efficiency of single mode fibers.
